New brake pads. Green Stuff or the bird?

I am putting new brakes on and need help deciding between the EBC green stuff or Hawk HPS.

Are the Hawk HPS pads ceramic? If not what ones are?

Do either of these pads come with the spring steel clips(shims) or do they need to be purchased separately?

    Thanks,
    Ryan

I know hawks are not ceramic and all I have ever heard about EBC is they are organic so your guess is as good as mine. I am running cheap AZ ceramics and they stop at least as good as OEM and make a lot less dust. All 4 wheels was about $70.

I run hawk hps front and hawk ceramics in the rear, no fade.

A quick search would have told you if they are ceramic or not

Carbotech is another pad worth looking into.

I run the Hawk "HPS" pads also, couple them with the Russel SS braided brake hoses, great stopping power.

I'd look into ebc redstuff. I run them on the vette and they have a very good stopping power. Slam on the brakes and you'll rip your spleen out. I had ebc green stuff on my old trans am, and I was very happy with them. They come with everything you need if needed. I'm going to be buying the redstuff soon for the trans am to see how much better they are on a bird.
