Needing some advice, Muy Pronto

3.8 A4. So im driving home from work, i make a turn, and get on the gas a little, im in second, at about 2800, then it feels like i go into neutral, all at once the car stops pulling, RPM's shoot up to about 4200, cars shaking like a bitch, and my SES light starts flashing. I put it into neutral and coast a min, then go easy on it. I had to go about 2 miles to pull over, and every so often itd do that. i pulled over, left it running, no fluids leaking, no crazy noises at idle, checked my fluids, oil was kinda high, Tranny fluid was fine, but had some foam on the stick. Sucks man!! Maybe its not as bad as is seems though--i'll take a shot in the dark and suggest a torque converter; fixed with a few hudred dollars. fingers crossed! Sent you a PM with ph.#, i'm tied up till 2 tomorrow afternoon but happy to help ya out however after that. good luck!

problem resolved, bad coil pack, swapped it out, no more problems so far, $225
