Need wheel offset numbers for stock wheels
All the old threads and stickys are missing pictures and info and PDF's. Everything is getting outdated. BLah.
Anyway, does anyone know the offset of my WS6 speedline wheels? I'm fixing to finally buy some wheels and need to know what will work and what will not.
Please and thank you.

The factory 17 x 9 WS6 wheels have a 50mm offset.

Well they offer a +45 offset. Might go with that size then. Plus I already rolled my fenders.
It's just so hard to find wheels I like with our lug pattern and in 17's.Last edited by jrbonds; 01-20-2016 at 08:40 AM.

Hey Jodi,
This should help out AND explain the situation!

Interesting that you mention about wheels you might like as i really have not seen people on here thinking about
other OEM wheels, that is to say trying to fit say a BMW or a Mercedes wheel on a TA.
In engineering terms most things are possible with enough thought when it comes to modifying things to accept
something unusual.. I did look into trying to fit some BMW rims on a while back but the cost of the rims canceled
those plans!!

I have an 2002 BMW and I put my M3 wheels on once and they fit perfect. But they were 18's. So I'm just trying to think outside the box. I have a vision for my car and one way or another, I will get these wheels to fit. lol
Thank you for that link. I'll go read more now.

18's will fit, just need to figure tire size. You're biggest hurdle is in the front. I've seen 18's on the front but the tires looked like rubber bands. No way I would run them with my power output.

Pewter- 2002 Trans Am WS6 M6
I have 295/35/18 all around and they fit pretty well. Just had to modify the bump stops.
BMW wheels actually fit well since their lug pattern is only off ours by a mm irrc.Mods - Lid, Skip Shift Eliminator, MGW shifter, UMI SFCs, Founders Lower Control Arms, Founders Panhard Bar, Founders Adj.
