Black on Black- 2001 Camaro SS
Need a reputable LS1 shop in GA.
What's up guys? I need to find a good LS1 shop in North Ga or surrounding areas. I've got an 01 SS that is about to give up the ghost, I think. I've had the car since 01 and its only got 58,000 on the odo, but it has been burning oil for about 40k miles. Drove it to work today and I've got a rumble somewhere deep in the motor. Most people wouldn't notice it, but this is my baby we're talking about. I've had a ticking above 4,000 rpm for about 10k miles, now this. Change the oil religiously with mobil 1 only. Any suggestions on a possible problem and good place to get it repaired close by would be greatly appreciated.
Well, nevermind everyone. Here it is only 8 hours later, and she just slung a rod! Gotta love it! I am taking it to GMMG in Marietta, Ga if anyone else needs a renowned shop in Ga.Last edited by LS1Pwrd01SS; 07-29-2006 at 04:15 PM.
