    Camaro 2000 SS M6

    My SS & dead stop after cam swap + tune !! :(

    I did full over-roll for my engine & a cam swap

    Changed/Replaced :
    • all Gaskets ( heads ,intake ... etc)
    • Cleaned the MAF
    • ls1 water pump
    • ls6 oil pump
    • Ported the Stock TB
    • air/fuel filter
    • plugs
    • cam w/specs ( 230/236 112+2 LSA)
    • Tuned

      And am facing idle problems specially in 1st gears with a low RBM .. the RBM stay stable at idle but in driving the car go to Dead stop Just like it's need to be re-tuned and i did the tune more than 3 times ! and the problem still appears ..

      specially while driving w/ A/c On



    Anyone?

    Forgot to mention

    sometime it gives me codes like:
    P0201
    P0300

    and the idle rmb after tuning is 820~850

    Am not very expert in tuning so i took the car to 3 different Shops to do the tune for me
    and still Same..
    Is that cam really big For the DD or The street ?

    No the cam isn't the problem, were the people proven lsx tuners?
    The tuners should have told you what those codes are.

    p0201 is an injector 1 control circuit dtc and p0300 is a random/multiple cylinder misfire dtc. Might want to look at that number 1 injector and wiring first and see what's going on there.

    I'm going to check the injector and I'll try to clean them ...

    You need to find someone who knows how to tune. The problems you are having (from the tune) should be simple and you need to find what's going on with cylinder 1 injector.
