My Horn blows....
I dont know about you guys but my Horn sounds like a little girl farting lol but really does anyone else's horn (camaro's preferably) sound like shit? I mean yea it is the winter and its probably frozen but even when its nice out it sounds like someone is stepping on a duck and when ever some fagit civic cuts me off all I can do is beep and they cant even here me over there coffee can exhaust. Is there a way to fix this problem??

Mine did that for awhile. If you pull open the front air dam flap on the passenger side (where the turn signal stuff is) and look inside you'll see two horns. One for low and one high. If you get someone to honk (cover your ears) you'll probably notice that one of them doesn't push any air out. replace that with a new low and it will sound good again.
I did that on mine cause it sounded like a circus clown car.

I bought mine from O'reilly. Can't remember the name, but the freeway blaster low there is the same manufacturer that gm used for the original.

My horn had the duck complex going too for a little while then quit working all together. I pulled them out to see if I could figure out what was up, and saw that the positive terminals were all corroded. I cleaned them up and stuck them back in. It's working again normally for the moment. As soon as the constipated duck sound comes back, I‘m getting some Highway Blasters.

marine air horn. its loud, obnoxious, and does the job. lol. my buddy always had one in his car then he somehow found a TRAIN horn for his super duty. first time I heard that I was deaf for a week!
If all else fails, horn broken - watch for finger!

I have a Train Horn on Nymphadora. Finding a place to put it under the hood with the air tank, compressors, etc. was difficult, but it's LOUD.
I'll try to get some pics and a vid today.

Good info on the O'Reilly horn. I replaced my low note with another GM about 3 years ago and it is going bad again. Is the O'Reilly freeway blaster that much louder than the stock horn? I mean, if you put the O'R horn on does it drown out the high note horn? Maybe they mean the "freeway blaster" is like the OE horn instead of a cheesey generic horn....?

I've never heard mine working with the low, so I can't say. I bought my car at 69K miles and the low didn't work. I think its the same horn, just slightly different connectors

I dont really blow my horn that much. Infact i used it once ever since i got the car. Whenever i am behind some1 who is sitting at a green light or something, a quick rev of my loudmouth usually does the trick.

I usually don't use mine for regular driving, but like when I am leaving a friend's house and they are waving, a couple quick honks. Or if someone is sleeping when the light turns green, a couple of wake up honks. Don't want to have a girly horn.

I've replaced mine 3 times...same thing...always the low note!!!! They don't last very long it seems! Got mine from Pep Boys. They were exactly the same as GM, made by some company called "Faaim" I think it was.
