Mustang LS2 swap

I'm looking to do a LS motor swap into a Mustang. I'm going to try and find a LS2 motor with the computer wiring ETC for around 2-2500K I'm not totally sure the differences with the LS family so I need some help there. I also need to know if anyone has seen or done this before so I can not spend a ton doing this. I'm guessing I'll have to have a cutom made bell housing so I can keep my TKO600 manual trans. (it's more fun to me) I know I'm forgetting about 90% of what need to happen for this to work but i'm not trying to write a book.

It's one of my dreams(won't ever happen) to put an LS1 into my first car(Mustang), but it probably won't ever happen. Good luck on the swap, though.

Why not get the motor with a built T-56 tranny. Would save time and effort matching them up. Good luck with the swap - keep us updated.

I would get a new t-56 but thats another $1,100 minimum plus it would still have to fit in the stock shifter location
