motor mounts.......

anyone have their motor mounts replaced recently? What did it cost, and what type of mounts did you put in? I am going to have to have it done in a shop due to the fact that I dont have the facilites to change them out, so I am not really looking for the parts cost I am aware of that. I thought it was my trans mount but the transmission hits the top of the tunnel when i get on it hard. Gonna have it check out later in the week but its looking like its the trans mounts...........

YOur best bet is just to call around to a few local shops, its a simple replacement with a floor jack and some stands and common hand tools.
Alot of people go with poly mounts although they tend to have more drivetrain noise.
