    Motor Mounts

    I was just quoted $200 to have both motor mounts replaced on my 01 SS. That a good deal? I've heard its a bitch to do them.

    Replacing the mounts once they're out is a sinch, getting the new Prothane mounts (if that's what you use) lined up properly is a BITCH!!! Took me 3 hours to get the bolts through and the motor mounted back on the k-member with it completely out of the car, so imagine how it'd be in the car. I'd say have it done man.

    Damn dude. Sounds like im going to let someone else deal with it. He does a good enough job I'll let him install my headers also lol.

    Headers are actually really easy, especially with a buddy. A few hours, some jack stands, and some penatrating lube and you'll be set! I couldn't imagine doing them with the motor in the car!
