Is The Manual Fan Switch Worth It???

just seeing if the manual fan switch is good and how is it hooked up?? looks pretty simple but there no diresctions on the SLP site

i just installed a jimmy rigged fan on my 93 winter car since its always running hot ill post up pics to show how i did it for $4.00

I guess it all depends. Are you in 100+ degree traffic for hours on end? I've never felt the need for one and we have gone through quite a few F-bodies (as project cars, race cars, and daily divers). Then again we're in So*Cal. Houston or Vegas could be a different story.

If anything, get a 160 degree thermo and have the fans set to come on sooner... no need for manual.

I think, IMO, it would definnitly help! I am in PA and there are several times I could use it! I am getting one very soon. Just think, when you turn on your A/C, the fans come on and your temp drops. I am one who doesn't ever like to see the car get up to the 210 mark!

well today just jimmy rigd one for $2.00 of 10 guage wire on my winter car. i used a on/off swich from a door jam and just hard wired the rest to act manualy??

ill show pics on how i did it soon
