    MAF delete?

Long story, but i had to rig up a filter for my car and because I didn't have a lid, i couldn't really figure out how to fit the MAF in, so I got frustrated and just put a cone filter on the end of the throttle body and it seems to be running perfect, like nothing is different at all. I live in south Florida its about 80 or 90 all the time. Do I really need a MAF or can I just like run without it?
    Thanks

So, your asking if you can run in Speed Density? Yes you can. With a tune.

your car can run without a maf stock..but it wont run as well as with 1. a maf or 2. a speed density tune.

Ive Spent countless hours trying to re-create his numbers. Thing is, he doesnt do it like some of the instructions say. That tuning guide is so basic, its just the bare minimum to get yo going in SD. He knows the little in and outs. Some of those tables are so vague with thier explanations, its almost impossible to know what they do without seeing it done first hand. I just discovered RTT. Have you messed around with that at all? Pretty cool feature.

Yes, its basically exactly what it says. RTT, Tuning on the fly. You make changes and see them right away. Instead of editing, writing, scanning ... wash and repeat kinda thing. I havent really gotten into it too much because my tune seems to be spot on.

Any new numbers with this SD tune? No, I will soon though. On the 'other' tune,

On a Mustang dyno through a 9" and 4.11's It put down 416 RWHP and 375 RWTQ. I am interested to see what it will put down now. But its probably going to be on a dynojet this time, so comparing the two will be hard. Car rips. On a EgoJet, I would suspect 435-440 RWHP. Tune is probably 99% done. I might try to make a few little changes, but im sure ill revert back to this tune

Make sure you get the cheater tables for the dyno from frost. Since the dyno is a diff load you will need them for your A/F to be where it should. i am hoping to get on the dyno with-in the next two weeks. i found a guy that will put my car on the dyno and then just let me use it for an hour for $100. let me know what you end up putting down. i am interested.

Ill hav to ask him about those tables, first ive heard of them. Im going to replace valve seals, then either get to the track, or the dino. Which ever one comes first, doesnt matter I will, make sure you do that same. Yours should be impressive.
