    MAF

    I can't take the MAF out of the lid. How can I do it?

    I'm jst tryin to clean it with MAF cleaner
    should I clean it with that big piece on the side?
    It's the stock one

    heat it with a hair dryer....it'll come right out.

    Done!!! That thing was bad
    it lookd clean I never tought it would need it
    now that I jst clean it
    it looks way better hopefuly I feel a diference

    yeah, that's the whole point. The main reason you want to use MAF cleaner and not some random electrical cleaner is MAF cleaner won't leave a residue.

    Yeah it worked!
    Nice. And the thing that the cleaner is made for that
    I noticed the throttle body was very dirty inside. Do I clean that too?
    Or wat do I use

    that throttle body is very easy to take off which would make cleaning the backside of it easier. I normally use carb cleaner but in a pinch you could just use that maf cleaner if you wanted. Would be a good time to do the throttle body bypass. Just make sure you purge the air from the cooling system if you take the tb completely off. You can probably clean it fine just by spraying it real good without taking it off.

    I was thinkin to take it out n clean it with gasoline.
    Bt the the carb cleaner or the MAF.
    I am gonna bypass the TB
    I'm gonna get a polished/ ported TB
    i'm gonna do it when I get the slp air lid
    one other thing I wanted to do.
    Cut the EGR tube inside the intake manifold

    sounds like you're on the right track.....get all the free/cheap/easy stuff knocked out first.

    I had all that on my last z28 ls1
    it did made a differense. They were done by the owner b4 me
    where can I find all the free mods or if you could tell me some. Thanks
    I kne the bypass tb. Cut the EGR tube
    n I forgot the other ones
