LT1 rearend different than an LS1??
i have a parts lt1 car from back in the day and just curious if i could swap out rear ends from the lt1 to my ls1??

The only difference that I know of MAY be the abs(three or four channel) and/or traction control. Other thatn that, I believe they are the same. Someone else may chime in with further info.

I know they are different carriers.. but since you're swapping in the whole thing, you shouldn't have any probs except for like stated the ABS/traction control if its in the center or at the wheels.

Everything else will bolt right up.Skip the traction control/abs and you wont have to worry about it.If not just take it out of the one and put it in the new one.
