ls3 PROJECT
I have a 1999 Firebird 3.8l daily driver and have just got a good deal on a ls3 motor with 0 miles. Its coming with all the pulleys, but i will have to get a ECM and wiring harnest and all that. i was told that the motor will bolt on to my current trans. is that true? Before i buy the engine i also want to know if it will work with my current firebird?

It is not a direct swap you have to make accommodations for the dry sump the ls-3 comes with. I don't know the full specifics

You might move this to the internal section, also a call to gm's performance division might be helpful since I am sure they get a lot of inquiry's of what to get to swap over there crates to the vast market of cars.
