    Ls2 heads

    Heads for ls2 compt. with ls1 bolcks? I bought used Ls2 heads,it was to good to pass up. but my heads for my '98 Z are bad on the even side, is it poss. to do a stright switch?

    yes, you can put ls2 heads on an ls1 motor if that's what you're asking.

    yes, Would I need to upgrade any? or could I just bolt it on and go?

    well, what exactly are you doing? Just moving the heads over or doing a cam at the same time? It really just depends on what you're doing. I personally would probably do as much as I could afford when doing all that work. If you're just staying completely stock look at those 243's as the same thing you have now but with a little more flow. They'll bolt straight up with no modifications.

    wait, just noticed you're a 98. Your current valve covers won't work with the 243's. The 98's had perimeter bolts and the 99+ heads had center bolt. You'll have to get valve covers and coil brackets.
