ls1 twin turbo stroker kit
Just wanted to say hi to all, I am a newbie located in lake havasu Az. I own an Extreme Performance Platinum sand car with a turn key motor, twin turbo 5.7 LS1 that is 870 hp to the crank 600 + to the rear wheels. My question is, I want a little more HP and more torque. I was told to stroke it.........What stroker kit do I need?????Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I personally wouldn't feel safe running that much power/boost on a LS1 motor. After all, even though the block is strong, it is still Aluminum.
Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

To post pictures you have to have a Photobucket account (it's free). You just need to copy the IMG link from the photo and paste it in the thread.

If you get a chance go to turnkey motors or CBM. Check out the hp they do with an LS1, ITS CRAZY!!!!!!!1

I am assuming your talking about pistons, crank etc? If so I am not sure what is inside it. I make 10 lbs of boost on pump gas. Although I run av gas in it. I am having my mechanic (friend tear it down). As soon as I know I will let you know. I beleave it is mostly a stock motor. I just had it dynoed at extrme performance and it was 56 degrees and the humidity was 22%, and it made 635.13 rwhp and 598.47 torque.
Can you help me on the stroker kit????

A 402 has a steel block so it can handle a lot more boost then a LS1 which has an aluminium block.

Even a 408. Plus, you'll have more cubic inches = more power.

Thanks for the knowledge. Is it the same dimensions as an ls1. My car is obviously tabbed for an LS1. Thanks, again
