LS1 to LS6
I have a 2000 Trans Am, LS1, WS6 and I just purchased the GM stock LS6 kit. I went ahead and purchased a set of Harland 1.8:1 Roller Rockers to go with the kit. Summit Racing says they will bolt right on with no problems at all. I also am installing a set of Pacesetter LT headers with ORY. Has anyone done this swap? How was the added horsepower? Any problems with yours?
Thanks

You'll need to consider a spring swap. The LS6 springs and cam are matched well. You increase the lift with a higher ratio rocker and you'll be looking at trouble. Although, if you're going to be digging into the motor, you should consider a more aggressive cam than the LS6. That kit with the headers might get you 370rwhp max with a great tune (if it's an M6). But, even that might be considered high hopes by some. A bigger cam can easily put you over the 400rwhp mark and depending how good your tuner is, do it without sacrificing drive-ability. But, that's just my opinion...

Cam
If I decide to go with a bigger cam, what size should I get that will work with the stock LS6 heads, Pushrods and Lifters? This car is not a daily driver but I do take it to the track on Friday nights and I would like to drive it on the HWY if I need to.
