    LS1. low miles,lifter noise

    I have a lifter noise that comes and goes. It's not there at starting but,soon after. Sometimes it goes away, sometimes it doesn't. The engine has only 30,000 miles on it.

    sounds more like an exhaust leak... sounds like once the metals expand from the heat that the exhaust is leaking and making a ticking(?) sound...
