    LS1 Hesitation?

I have a 98 TA and i have noticed a hesitation under acceleration. I changed the fuel filter, the plugs, wires, air filter, cleaned MAF sensor and cleaned throttle body. i wouldnt think it was a fuel pump, i dont here a whine or anything. what about the PCV valve. would this cause a short hesitation under throttle. I also feel a small shake at an idle, whether this is connected idk PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

It seems to do it after it shifts up to another gear. Im not at WOT when it happens, just like stop and go traffic i can feel it as if im letting off the throttle but really not. How exactly do u check fuel psi? havent ever had to do it nor seen anyone do it. As for mods, just an SLP lid and custom 3" exhaust. Thats about it.

Has your SES light tripped? If so, have you scanned the codes?

Was the problem exactly the same before the work that you did?

sounds like you might have the same problem as me. when im going 50-60mph i get hesitation not going wot. if i go wot it doesnt hesitate at all.

im thinking my problem is either going to be fuel pump or probably more than likely tune/fuel tables or something.

this is how to check for fuel pressure.

Is the PCV hose cracked at the throttle body? That is about the number one spot for a vacuum leak to form.

my '99 Z does the same thing. no SES light or anything like that so i haven't let it concern me. still starts and runs strong except for the occassional mild hesitation.
