    LS1 HELP in Fayetteville, NC

Hi, I am trying to find a shop or a person in the Fayetteville, NC area that knows a lot about the ls1 to troubleshoot/fix my car. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. The car is currently throwing the running too lean on bank 1 code, and every once and awhile the SEL light flashes while driving . The car starts/idles fine but when your driving and give it some gas it definitely doesn't have nearly the pull it should. The car has been smoked for vacuum leaks, and the O2 sensors have been replaced. Thanks.

2000 Trans Am WS6 auto: Hooker headers, Custom true duals, no cats, Magnaflow muffler, Volant CAI, Granatelli MAF, SLP smooth elbow, 85mm TB, 85mm Typhoon Intake manifold, Predator tuner, ZEX 100 shot (wet) never been used though.

Have you tried swapping MAFs to the stock unit to see if the performance returns? That is a start. I believe there are threads about the LS1s not liking aftermarket MAFs.

+1 on the MAF. I believe your flashing SEL is an indication of a cylinder misfire . You might want to check out your plugs and wires.
