LS1 Engine Help
Hi Everyone!
I have a 98 Corvette and I am very familiar with the engine.
We have a custom Jeep that we've lifted and put 42" tires on. It still has the stock engine and we are looking to upgrade. We found a great price on a used LS1 engine with only 5700 miles on it. We have a Turbo 400 tranny already. My question is this...will the LS1 mate up with the Turbo 400 easily or will this just be a huge PITA?

with the right flywheel, and convertor, it will work, but you'll be 2 missing bolts... 1 hole in tranny not in block, 1 hole in block not in tranny... no biggy, it will be fine...
