    Ls1 Engine

I just put another Ls1 engine in my 2002 Camaro SS....I have the other engine and I would like to sell it...What should I ask for it or just sell the parts....It has 120,000 miles on it and the head gasket ,on the left side has a small crack....Water never went into the engine just on top of the head..
    Tell me what you think...Please

No... the head is not cracked ...The engine was still running great...No skipping etc.
Just had to put water in every day... No steam out the pipes either

It is on the inner part of the head gasket thats why there is no steam or skipping

With a somewhat mystery problem like that I would say the $500.00 - $1000.00 range is pretty fair.

If you had a way to fix the head gasket and confirm that was all that was wrong I imagine you could probably get around $1500.00 for it.
