LS1 coil help

Hello all,
I am here to find out just a couple things. I am an old school supra guy and I am using ls1 coils with a haltech standalone on a 1985 supra. I am not incredibly versed with the setup as I bought it from someone that created the setup. I am now trying to figure out exactly what else can be done with it. Firstly, are the ls1 truck coils different than the ls1 car coils? I have searched but I am sure my lack of technical prowess didnt help me with my choice of words in the search. I was curious if upgrading from stock ls1 coils coulld be beneficial for power output? I have access to aftermarket ls1 truck coils and didnt know if it would be a lateral move or an upgrade. I am really just trying to understand the whole coils concept as the car originally had a distributor and measly 182cc injectors. now it has 550cc injectors and 6 ls1 coils so to say it is different is an understatement.

stick with the car coils.

The truck coils are run by many 7 and 8 second turbo F-bodies with great success.
