LS1 Camaro 2001 Not starting!! *PLZ HELP*

The motor is not cranking, so i thought it's the starter, I replaced it with new one and still no sign of life. Battery is new too. What else could it be??!!

Please help me troubleshooting this.

is the starter even trying? if not are you getting power to the starter? check your fuses and relay to the starter then post up your results

The starter not moving at all. Someone told me it might be the motor is jammed!! I will check the fuses/relay/Security light and I'll comeback.

Put the starter in a vice and give it power to see it it works. Also check that the ground to the alternator is a good conection. What do your volts say on the dash ?

I just replaced the starter solenoid on my 2000 LS1, and that seems to do the trick. I was experiencing the same symptoms, but it was intermmitent. I at first thought it was the VATS system, but the security light was not remaining on.
