Lower control arm question:
I think I'm getting ready to do some rear suspension work. I was going to do LCA relocation brackets and new LCAs with poly bushings. My question is, what's better? Tubular LCAs? Or Boxed LCAs?
The car is a daily driver/occasional drag strip car. The suspension is completely stock, with the exception of the SFCs I just had welded up.

Boxed are stronger and dont deflect like tubular. I just put on some spohn LCAs and a PHB with urethane bushings. Love em! Also got Koni SAs and a set of Strano sway bars. Its like a completely different car!
Bowtie good! Blue oval not so good! Bob in the PRK

So boxed LCAs are better? Now I need somebody to clear up another controversy for me. Are the LCA relocation brackets worth a damn on a car that hasn't been lowered?

Boxed are stronger, tubular have better ground clearance. Relocation brackets are a plus, changes your control arm angle and helps plant those tires that much more.
