Loud squeeling brakes after new pad install

Here is a vid. this is with the pedal at rest and the system bled. WHY are they making this sound, and WHY can i push on my caliper does it seem to loosen the grip? The rears do this a little bit but it's not as loud of a sound, and i can't jiggle them at all....

that is nothin duder... just go down the road at 30mph... hit your brake and the gas to maintain speed and do it for 10 seconds... let off and cruis a bit so they can cool then do it again... they should be fine after that... it's jsut the pads need to seat in to the rotors...

I guess we will find out if it was performed properly in about 5-10 minutes.

removed calipers and replaced pads. I compressed the pistons before reinstalling the calipers. yesterday i was blowing fluid all over the place upon depressing the brake b/c i didn't have solid contact with the brake line to the caliper-now everything is tight. i just bled all corners until i saw fluid

dude, maybe im interpreting it wrong....but you didnt COMPLETELY remove the calipers to replace your pads did you? It might be a stupid question, but you shuoldnt leak any fluid at all jus sliding a caliper off and compressing pistons.

Also, did you have your rotors resurfaced or did you replace them? You wanna "bed" your new pads to a new rotor surface. ie resurfaced or new rotors. When i say bed, i mean a series of stops from about 35 mph to 10 or so. step firmly and progressively. do it about 10 times and you should be good. and please make sure those brake lines are tight on your calipers lol

i drove it about 4 miles to the shop. It grinded LOUD the whole way. I maintained a whoping 15mph. It was midnight when i did it so no cars were on the road. I pulled off the road once to inspect and noticed the rotors were hot as hell. I sat for 5 minutes then went again-once i got there they were significantly cooler for some reason? It was only 40° last night so that probably had a lot to do with it. But i'm just not good with this diagnosing shit when i know a shop could do it . Thanks for all your help!

since you didn't get your rotors resurfaced you will need to drive around and brake alot... the rotors and pads have to wear each other to fit right...

Or he could have a caliper freezing up on him and not releasing all the way. If you installed new rotors did you have them turned also? Thats always a good idea, mass produced rotors tend to be a tad out of round also.

Since a shop has it maybe it will get fixed for you. But I'll ask anyway... Did you also clean the caliper slides and lube them up very well also??
