Loud headlamp covers
Ok so I've always had this problem that when I turn off my lights its really loud from the metal on metal contact. Problem is I can't determine the exact location of the sound to maybe deadin the sound with foam tape or something so I was wondering if there was another method or material to queit this sound

Metal on metal screech or a thump? Our headlights make an audible clunk when the lights are shut off. There are stops that they impact with as they close. Maybe something is simply out of adjustment. Use a long phillips head screwdriver to remove the surround and then unscrew and remove the lid to see what is going on. Remove the back screws first with the headlight closed and the hood up, and then the front screws with the headlight open. Let us know what you find...
