loss of electrical power while driving
over this last weekend I had two times where my car almost died for no apparent reason and of of the times it even had a power loss to the dash because my trip meter reset itself. My car never completely died either I checked my battery terminals and they are corrosion free and tight. Any input on what else to check would be nice. Also the alternator seems to be working properly and no problems starting the car at all

Sebring Silver Metalic- 2002 Camaro Z28
I had something similar happen to me. I had to pull the alt while doing a motor mount change. One day on the way home the alt connect came loose. idiot lights starting going off the bat gauge when low and near red, it felt like she was gunna die. I put the plug back in and every thing is a ok.
now the same atl went bad on me. the new one game with dialectric greese. Its been pretty good to me since then.
one thing i never liked about my alt connector is how tight the wire is. There is like no slack and it never clamps right or very tight. And the sucker is in the worse place too, hard to see, and hard to touch. and the wires are like 18 guage itty bitty stuff, always afraid i'm gunna break them, yikes.
hope this helps, good luck.
