    Looking for horsepower

Hello everyone I have a 1998 Z-28 and would like some more ponies under the hood. Haven't done much to it. It has a catback exhaust (flowmaster),160 thermostat, power programer, mass airflowsensor, air induction, K&N filter, and that's about it. Planning on spending around $5,000.00 if someone can give an idea on how to get this Z quicker I will appreciate it, it's also my dayli driver somewhere around 80 miles a day 5 days a week, with that being said I'm hopping to get decent MPG. Thaks.

Free up the true potential of the LS1 w/ some long tube headers.

Get rid of the Flowmaster, you will gain a few ponies right there lol. Get yourself a nice Head/Cam package with a good tune and you should have some money left over for whatever you want.

Like said above, Turbo. You wont get better gas mileage than that (as long as you keep your foot outta the bucket). Will also be more streetable with much more hp than trying to do it N/A.

Longtube Headers and a Bassani True Dual Stainless Exhaust system. You'll be looking at about $1200, but the gains will be excellent in both power, torque, and sound.

    Definitely worth the money.
