Locked out!

Hey guys and dolls! I am sure that someone here has had this lil issue before...i am driving my car around the other nite and stop at a place and when i get back in to leave my key turns, radio comes on but nothing else happens...security light is blinking. Battery is juiced, seems that the car thinks i am stealing it and nothing is gonna convince it otherwise. Anyone got any helpful advice other than towing it 40 miles to a dealer to be bent over?

Move the key around, it may not be making solid contact with the resisteive pellet in the key

Dude that happened to me and I had to get a new key... the dealership said it was common.. So it was under warranty and they did it all.. But my buddy had it happen to his trans am and just freaked out and called a locksmith and they gave him a ghetto lookin key for 100 bucks
