LM1 CARB Legal?

Just curious is the LM1 exhaust system legal in California? If not whats cat backs are legal here in Cali? Any help would be appreciated!

It might be too loud that is all. Some places are harder on people with loud cars. You need to see if there is any noice ordinances in your town and what the limits are.

The exhaust system is a cat-back which should not have anything to do with emissions.

All catbacks are legal in California, for they are installed back of the cats, which can not be moved from the factory location.

Now if the system is noise legal is another story. The old law stated that the system had to be < 75 db, the officer would test your system using a db meter, then issue the ticket if warented, California most recently changed the law that says "All the officer has to do is think the system is to loud", and then he can issue the ticket. You would then have to go to a state run facility to prove them wrong.

Another example of giving too much leverage to the already "impaired morons" in uniform.
