Left Brake Light Out

Hi everybody, I just replaced my left brake light assuming that was the reason it was out and still only the left brake light is out. Is there a fuse I should check? or also I was told it could be my turning signal switch but that effects both brake lights I think. If you guys have answers for me I'd like to hear them, Thanks

It could be the bulb socket is bad. Do you have a test light or a multimeter?

Had a similar issue with my 99 T/A that was the turn signal switch. The brake light worked sometimes and didn't work others. I had my brother following me one night and we figured out that every time I used the left turn signal, the left brake light wouldn't work until I used the right turn signal. Go figure. I had taken the car to the dealer several times always being told the didn't witness the brake light not working. Once I took it in and showed them, they replaced the switch and it worked fine since.

Thanks you guys, Im going to get a light test and hope its the socket because if not the turn signal switch is a long process to switch out
