Leaky exhaust needs welding. AUDI 100S

Hello, the exhaust makes annoying sounds when turning the wheel. How much would it be to weld it? Any help is appreciated.

Why do you think it's an exhaust leak? we need a little more details.... Exhaust shouldn't change pitch or tone while turning?

what do you mean makes annoying sounds while turning? From where front or rear? Also post if you have LT's and ORY?


I'm asking because you might have an exhaust leak at the manifold. In that case its gaskets, that would be the cost of a set of gaskets and time to install.




Welding of a crack tube can cost anywhere from a cost of a 6 pack to $50, depends on where you go. I had a section repaired 6 months ago because something was dropped off a truck in front of me and torn a 6-8" gash in my ORY. it only cost me $10 because the guy has worked on my car 3 times now and knows I'll come back, so he cut me a break, one that should have cost about $50-70 for labor and material. Welding up the seems of an ORY or doing a new exhaust piping can get up to mid-$100's.

I feel like a dumb ass for asking about headers and ORY...I just saw your car, sorry just used to the cars on our forum. Just disregard the the headers/ORY question, but everything else would still apply.
