might be the torsen carrier.try this at about 40 mph let off the gas ,coast and turn the steering wheel to the right, then to the left, then straight.Did you hear the noise and did it change as you moved the wheel? If it did its the torsen normal noise.

Could also be a loose caliper. My rear right was making a clanking sound so I replaced the little rubber booty deals.

is yours more noticeable at lower speeds like 25-30
thats when the knocking seems real bad
the reason y i brought up this issue is because everyone who rides in my car notices it so i thought it wasnt normal
well if u r that sure that its not a problem then i will leave it alone
thanks for everyone's help

If you have money to burn you can always throw in a strange 12-bolt and you'll never have to worry about it again.

My 99 Z-28 did the same thing, knocking when turning left at slow speed. I changed the gear oil in the diff. and used Royal Purple gear oil with a tube of Gm positive additive. It helped but did not cure the problem. As above live with it until you need a new diff.

i don't care what you replace in the rear,as long as the stock torsen lives in there you're gonna hear that noise.forget about it and enjoy your car! PLUS think about this:even if it does break so what you get it fixed. Why beat your brain about some noise that means nothing.Tell you what go out and beat the living hell outta yer car and see if the rear breaks.I'll bet it doesn't!
