Pull the fuel pump fuse when you park it..

Not going anywhere without the pump.. Unless it's flat bedded..

you could wire in a toggle to the 12 volt feed to the pump if you wanted to do that.....or just put in a good alarm system. I take it your vats has been disabled?

I have a kill switch I want to install. I dnt knw where to put it.
I dnt trust to much on alarms. And after a while they are just problems.
The vats system is not bypassed but the security light is always on. But the car starts

It's in the fuse box underneath the hood.

I wouldn't put it underneath the dash, seems like alot of people do that.

Underneath the ashtray would be a clever place to hide it. Underneath the seat might not be too bad either.

I would put it inside the center console compartment underneath the coin change holder. You will have to remove the coin change holder everytime. I would use a push button type switch.

Best kill switch there is. Or the PCM fuse just as good.

unless someone has a pocket full of fuses or just moves one from a different location. You need a fuel pump to steal a car but you don't need a horn or cruise control.

Good point, we don't have hills in Florida, just speed bumps
I wanna see a thief trying to push start a car
    That would be a sight

    Lol @ Orion.

I'd use the clutch Saftey line or the ignition line, either one should suffice. Make sure you do a good job at concealing your wire tapping, you might make it obvious where your switch location is.

    Thanks for the replies guys.
I was thinking to put it on the center console hiding somewhere on the corner. Since the switch Is very small.
Or some where on the back.

But I Don't know where to connect it.
I was told I could connect the cables to the gas pump wires.
What could be any other place I can connect the wires?

1 - get insurance, that is what it is for

2 - if someone wants your car BAD enough, they will get it

3 - if you have something in your car worth stealing (stereo, etc), don't advertise it

4 - if your security light stays on, doesn't that mean you have a VATS issue? I would look into fixing that.

5 - even if you don't want an alarm, I would still have some sort of blinking light at the very least (if you don't have one) or a cheap alarm that makes sound when the car is tampered with. You can still do the kill switch, but most people (rookie thieves) get deterred when they see the car has an alarm.

I have isurance but not the full coverage, is very expensive because my age.
The security light came up when the mechanic change the ignition switch. He told me he couldn't turn it off. That made me mad.

So if the security light is on that means if sine try to steal the car the vats system will not do it's job?

I'll go back with the mechanic and tell him to fix it cuz that's what I paid him for.

I dnt have sound system and stuff like that but people around my area just like to look around and steal stuff.

The stock light alarm on the dashboard blinks when the car is off. They might get scare of that.
    But still is not safe.

If you paid someone to fix the ignition ( did he replace it or something?) and the vats come on after that then they did something wrong. There's a step by step on here to bypass the vats so the light will go off but it doesn't sound like something you'd want to do. When you put the key in the ignition the vats module reads the resistance in the pellet at the base of the key via 2 small wires in the ignition. If you're light is on then something is up with either your key or your ignition switch.
You can find the hot wire going to the pump ( I believe it's the grey wire but I'll have to look it up to be certain) and you can wire your switch in there. There's a plug right above the axle on the drivers side where you can easily access the wires. I will also look up the pin number on the pcm and you can access it there too pretty easily. After that just hide the switch in a good location on one would think to look.
