mine rarely works. usually I have to open the car with the key and then start it or put the accessory on cuz the alarm will go off. It's a pain in the ass. I tried replacing the battery and it did nothing. f*ckin POS

    Did you re-program it??
If not, do so or it won't work even with a new battery.

If you can't get it to work by re-programming it, the reciever may be bad.
You could check yours for function by re-programming to a friends car, if it works on his car then you know it's the reciever.

( if you don't know how to re-program it the instructions can be found in your owners manual )
No manual?? Got to the sticky for manuals at the top of the page & open one.

GMpartsdirect says list is $63/$37 their price + shipping. You can also get them on ebay but wouldn't trust a used one. Any GM dealership will be glad to sell you one I'm sure...
