K&N Oil Filter
Has any of you guys tried the K&N and oil filter and the Mobil 1 10w 30 synthetic oil

Yes. Middle of the road filtration and flow. On par with NAPA/WIX which sell for half the price. Mobil1 returns worse UOA's than Pennzoil Platinum...once again PP is half the price and returns better UOA's than Mobil1.

Sounds convenient, but aren't you supposed to hand tighten an oil filter

I hand tighten to then a little turn. They say that the filter is suppose to tighten itself from vibration but I have never had a problem and even better.....Never had a leak I use K&N oil filter for the last 2 years but am going to ALL Amsoil. Thats what my snowmobile likes anyways

mobil 1 15,000 mile filter, 2 oil changes about 4 - 5 thou miles
