    2000 Chevrolet Camaro SS

    Just bought SS, have a couple questions

    Hey, I just bought a 2000 Chevrolet Camaro SS. It's got the 6 speed transmission and 77k miles on it. But I have a question (it didn't come with the owners manual), the headlights are on some kind of auto feature??? As soon as I disable the e-brake they automatically turn on at night. I also have question about shifting, when starting the car or turning it off, when I put it into 1st gear I get a real bad grind. It isn't there if I boost the throttle a bit but I was just wondering if that is normal or possibly a problem with the transmission. The clutch seems to grab strong and it shifts fine. It just has the trouble because it grinds into first. Any ideas?

    Yes....we have auto headlamps but can be disabled
    Yes....you have a syncro going out

    Also...you can DL a copy of a owners manual if you go to the Sticky above this post

    Try a search. 'Disable running lamps' or something like that.
