Installing LS6 in 57 Chevy
Kind of an odd question, I know, but would anyone know whether an LS6 will install in a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air? If so, any hints?

You could install the engine with no problem, and then rent the extra space out to a family of 4.

The mounts are not the same. There are some companies making mounts to fit LS series engines into popular chassis on the old SBC frame holes. 1st gen F-bodies, 78-88 G-Body come to mind. If you need a bolt in, those are good starting points.
Dimensionally, you should have no probs squeezing it in.Hammer - hammertime.us
