Installing intake manifold?
I have a 99 Z28 with the LS1 intake manifold. I would like to upgrade to an LS6 intake manifold...with the EGR provision. What is involved in this swap? Are there any extra parts or gaskets I have to buy? How long has it taken most people? Thanks!

You can re-use the o-ring gaskets. Its not that hard, but be careful of the oil sending unit in the back of the block. Everyone seems to break them when taking the intake off.
Leave the fuel rails and injectors on. Switch them after your get the intake out.Black 1999 Blown Convertible A4

Do you think it is necessary to upgrade the throttle body when doing the manifold swap? Or should I just port the stock one?
However, looking at the stock one....it does not look like there is much to port (my guess is: there wouldn't be much gains from it).

you dont have to. you could if you want. its not a high horsepower mod alone, but with everything else, it helps.
