installed SLP Lid, now SES light

I just installed a lid and cut out behind the stock cat converter... Now my SES light is on... What could this be.. Im guessing one of the sensors up on the air box is acting up. Maybe just reset the light and make sure the plugs on the sensors are seated properly?

i believe in the instructions from SLP you're supposed to disconnect the battery and by reconnecting after you're done, it resets the computer??

i have the same problem, ur probably going to get a lean air mixture code. its really not that big of a problem and goes away every once in a while, best way to fix it really is to change the o2 sensors.

Knowing the SES code would help. Did the SES light come on after you opened the cut-outs? (I presume you mean that you have 2 cut-outs, 1 behind each cat). There is a rear O2 sensor behind each cat, and if a cut-out is in front of the sensor, it will throw an SES code once you open that cut-out.

clear the codes.. if they come back up .. post the codes..

most likely a fluke. let the computer learn the lid install
