The hose from the manifold goes into the side, and the hose going to the back of the motor goes on top right????

Thanks sir. I guess my motor just doesn't use oil through the PVC system like everyone elses. 20,000 miles and nothing. Thats why I thought it was on wrong. I appreciate the help.

Try changing the PCV valve. If you weren't getting oil in the intake, why'd you get the can?

I didn't check to see if I was getting oil in the intake. I just read everyone elses horror stories and went out and bought one. I will try changing my PVC, should need it soon anyways, at 75,000 miles right now.

You're not the only one. I haven't noticed a drop of oil on my 02 SS, even had the throttle body off a while back for a port job. Just for giggles I installed the new updated PCV anyway that is supposed to slow oil consumption. I still see nothing. I take the hose off from time to time just to look at things...

Now on my 00 SS I recently purchased, I just had the throttle body off for a port job as well. I noticed a very small oil film on the bottom of the throttle body. Further inspection inside the intake showed a very small amount of oil film,,,but nothing I would consider excessive at all.
Not bad though, and I really don't even notice the oil level moving much between changes... And this car has less miles than the other car that has no issues,,,,go figure.

Well I can't bitch because its a good thing that there is no oil. But I am out the money. Oh well, shit happens. Better then having the damn thing fill up every month or so.

Yep you're right. This issue just seems to be hit or miss with these cars...but more hit from what you read here.

I know when I took off my TB for porting it was thick and chunky. I took a rag soaked with carb cleaner and stuck my hand up there and cleaned it out. I changed the pcv valve with the truck one. My local fbody buds have them and they get out quite a bit of oil but they have 01-02s. Remember my pcv valve system is different on a 98,
