I recently broke the pet cock (drain) on the catch can
Hello all I recently broke the pet cock (drain) on the Mike Norris catch can the piece that's the lowest part of CC
on the end of the hollow drain bolt.
I looked at MN website did'nt mention anything about replacement parts so I' currently waiting to hear back form him.
if this drain is not available or to expensive whats the alternative?
I'd hate to have to seal the drain hole and drain from the top.
Thankscam-LTs-FAST78-Susp.-Rims

Take the can to a plumbing store. I know you'll find something to work.

Custom Swirly Black- 2001 WS6 M6
As Scott said.
Look for another valve in that size. I'd go to a plumbing store, not home dumpo or blowes.
Worst case, fill/plug the old hole permanently and drill/tap a knew one. Did that to my trans pan on my Jeep, they thought it a grand idea to provide no drain plug, so that first trans maintenance was alittle messy.

Mike Norris is a good guy. When I bought mine the drain valve leaked. I emailed him from his website and he shipped a new one to me free of charge. Unfortunately that one leaked too, so I went to ace hardware and found a nice little plug to thread in.

Thanks Guy's for the excellent advice as usalle.
Mike Norris response on Thrusday
"Hi Steve,
It is just a standard part that should be available at any local parts store. The same as a pet cock for an older car radiator with 1/4 NPT threads into the can itself."
Then I asked him if it was'nt gonna cost me a arm & a leg for the pet cock he use's his response
"The part is $5 and Priority Mail is $5.95
Let me know and thanks"
Think I'll curise by the auto store Saturday.
hope they have something like this
RockAuto Parts Catalog
Edit I to installed a drain plug in my WS6 trans pan, still have the pan as a spare to my TCI deep pan.
Thanks Guy's
