    Post I need some info!!!

    I just bought a Trans Am and the intake is gone. It had a Fast 90mm intake on it. I want to put another 90mm intake on it but i dont want to spend that kind of money. I know that other factory intakes will work that are 90mm but i dont know what they come off of. it has been dynotuned with a 90mm so i am thinkin if i dont put another 90mm on it that it will run way too rich. If anybody can tell me what i need i would appreciate it.

    Welcome to the site

    The factory LS6 intakes are 75mm I believe. If you want another 90mm intake, the only option I can think of is the Fast setup.

    I am going to move this to the general help forum so you can get some better responses on it.

    You could check into having a stock ls6 tb ported to 90mm, but I doubt it'll have enough material to pull it off.

    everything I have read is that the 90mm is overkill unless you have some major engine mods.... anyone else ?

    well my car has alot of head work done and i am not real sure what size cam it has in it but it has a 3400 stall converter so i imagine that it is pretty big and it had a 90 mm intake and throttle body on it before i bought it
