    i need help

    i have an 02 TA every time i put the e-brake down the guage fuse blows out any ideas on what it could be

    Loose ground or wire in the console. Should be a harness down there for the park brake switch, has a few wires coming off of it, might wanna give them a peek.

    I don't think loose ground is going to blow a fuse. More like a pinched wire shorting to ground when you move the handle.I'd look around the handle base.

    I agree with him. I'd say you have a positive lead that's grounding out whenever you pull the e-brake. A couple of screws and snaps and the center console should come out or at least move around enough for you to see.

    yeah agreed with the positive lead grounding out,.....check for stripped wires or a bad harness touching metal, also check the pressure switch for the ebrake light, that could be it, maybe the spring got jammed up somehow and its making a connection
