I Hate My Steering Wheel!!!

I really hate the steering wheel in my 02 Camaro,

I like the one I had in my 99 much better. I don't give a rats ass about changing the radio station from my steering wheel. I'd like to steer the car with it thats it. Its wider, cheaper, and ugly as hell. Can I get an older style steering wheel from a 98/99 Z and put it in the 02? I'd like to keep the air bag is the reason I don't go with an aftermarket/race wheel.

There should not be a problem switching out to a 99 with out the radio controls. You will just have to blank off the wires that ran up for the controls. Just make sure you disconnect the battery so you dont deploy the airbag.

You know what has a great wheel? I borrowed my mom's '03 Pontiac Vibe this weekend, and that thing has a killer wheel. It has 3 fat spokes, and perfect thumb indentations on the rim. It's like one of those video game steering wheels. I'm not sure if it's the same, but it looks an awful lot like a C6 wheel. I have no idea if it's compatible or not, but I think it'd be great in an F-Body.

or check out grant steering wheel I have the Disconnect kit set up below wheel its bad I love it
need to change with me needing more room by geting a rollcage

Now that sounds like what I want and it has the air bag too right? Hmm wondering if that would work? The C6 wheel.
