I can't find the damn thread!!!

Guys i'm so lost! even when i use the search forum feature.

I own a '67 nova, its BARE SHELL. with no pedals, gauges, bezels whatsoever.
the only thing on the body was the bumpers and the VINPLATE.

I saw a post here about an LS1 install that has a parts(not part numbers) list for the fuel system, brake system, cooling system, etc.

it was just an "ESSENTIALS" overview of the required parts and/or conversions.

This would really help, as i am in south east asia and hope that when i order an ls1 there, i would be able to pick up all the parts need to run the car here. nothing fancy yet, just a stock engine with 6-speed tranny will do me justice here.

I know the LS1 is my best choice for reliability for my little classic. it going to last a lifetime with an engine like the ls1.

I don't know how hard it would be to find one near your area, but my best advice would be to try and find a complete wrecked F-body to use for a donor car.....that way you have all the little brackets and parts you need for the swap

    Shipping it here

I plan to get one from there, around the CA or NV area...

do you have an idea how much a front-cut (from bumper to dashboard) F-body would cost?

not sure on prices, but I can do some checking around.
I'm not sure about the F-bodies, but I do know the gauges, fuel pump and lots of other little things go through and are controled by the body control module, so you might also want the full wiring harness and BCM for your swap if you want to use the stock type fuel system
