If you have small hands you can take the coil pack off these 2 and get them otherwise through the bottom. Headers make it easier

A 1-1/2" extension on your 3/8" ratchet works well. I agree on going at number eight from under the car.

Red- 2002 Trans Am WS6 (M6)
I just swapped mine out tonight. The first swap was before my headers and everyone is correct that headers make it easier. I've done this several times since I bought the car new and this was the first time I didn't chew up an arm. 6 isn't a big issue with headers and I start with 8 from below just because everything is easier from that point. I use a small extension and also one of those finger grip socket extensions to make plug removal easier.
Dielectric grease in all the boots and anti sieze on the plugs to make it easier the next time.

Don't forget fuel line hose to seat the new plug without cross threading!

Thanks wasn't easy but got it done in an hour an a half just had to use some tie wire on one to keep it from touching the headers
