PM member PAJeff02 for the price of the Moser as he has one. I believe he installed it himself. To be honest, you could do it yourself with jackstands and a floorjack and some hand/impact tools to keep the cost down.

I'll will be doing the same this winter, im still up in the air about what rear i want to get. Its either going to be a Moser 9' or a Strange 12 bolt with 4.11s. I have found that the Moser 9' is around $600 more than their 12 bolt. If you go on Moser website you can get a good idea on the price. $3,655 for the 9' shipped, give or take a few bucks for differnt options. There are other sites that have them cheaper just do a search and you will find them.

And cammed goat is right, it's really not that hard to do the swap. I'm pretty sure there is some stickies in the drive train section that walk you though the whole thing.

Yep, rearends are expensive. I'd like to add, that while they are designed to bolt up to the stock control arms, torque arm, and panhard bar...sometimes things don't always work out really nice and you made need to get some aftermarket adjustable parts to help center the rearend and set the pinion angle. So figure that in as a possibility.

Shop around, Craigslist, ebay, local ads, you can find a good 9" or 12 bolt for much less then Moser or Strange. Just remember to pull the cover or pumpkin to check the R & P and carrier.

Black- 99 WS.6 - Modified
My Moser 9" was around $3200 shipped to my door, with quite a few extra options - Tru-Trac diff., powdercoating, adjustable PHB, ect.. Installed myself in a day. It's really not that difficult. I'd estimate a shop will charge around $1k to install it. Some won't like to do the install if you don't order the rear through them, so you may have to check around.
