Auto= 14-16 quarts no sure on the manual probably around 3-4 quarts
and the rear diff will take about 2-3 quarts. It does get pricy in the end...hope this helps ya

    ^^Of course! ^^

The most often over-looked info book that comes with every car....a manual. Yup all the exact fluid types/specifications and amounts are in the owners manual.

    Not really much to it.
Pull the cover, drain fluid, replace gasket ( or silicone ), pull out fill plug ( usually 3/8 square ) and fill until you can feel the fluid level with your finger inside the fill hole.

You could also try to suck the fluid out and not bother with the cover at all!

Yeah, the only book I've found with info says to suck it out, but I guess pulling the plate will also give a chance to check out the condition of everything.

Yeah the hardest part of the job is breaking the seal and not getting fluid everywhere once you have all of the screws out. A neoprene dead-blow hammer works well.
